Chuck Mack | Board Member

Chuck Mack serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Campaign for College Opportunity. Mack is the Secretary of Teamsters Local 70 in Oakland, President of Teamsters Joint Council 7 in San Francisco, and Vice President of the Teamsters International union. He has been a member of the Teamsters union for over 40 years and a union representative for 35 years. The Teamsters are one of the largest unions in California and in the country, representing workers in ports, transportation, groceries and many other fields. Mack also serves as a member of the boards of the Central Labor Council of Alameda County and the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO.
In addition to his work on the Campaign for College Opportunity, Mack was nominated by U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein to serve on the board of the California Institute for Federal Policy Research, a bipartisan organization that works to ensure that the interests of California are reflected in federal budget policies.
Mack received his bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in 1964.
