Maria Luisa Figueroa currently serves as a Program Associate for the Campaign for College Opportunity. She is based in the Modesto office.

Before joining the campaign, Maria served as an assistant publicist at the College of Creative Arts for San Francisco State University. She worked closely with various artists in the community publicizing events ranging from art shows to concerts. Subsequently, she was rewarded with an internship with Stern Grove Music Festival, a dynamic organization committed to providing the people of the Bay Area with admission-free access to diverse performing arts. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2006 with a degree in Speech Communications with an emphasis in Organizational Communication.
