• We support the promise, made in our 1960 Master Plan for Higher Education, that every student wishing to pursue a college education should have access to a California community college or university.
• We firmly believe that providing college opportunity is critical to the well-being of individuals, families, and the economic and social health of California.
• We are aware that the state faces a growing demand for educated workers.
• We believe in providing young people with an opportunity to promote college participation and speak up regarding an issue affecting their futures.
• We commit to promote the contest amongst our students and encourage all 6th-12th grade youth to participate in the contest! 

• Help you promote the "Save Me a Spot in College" scholarship contest within your organization, school and/or community by providing attractive materials for you to share during your routine outreach.
• Assist in connecting you to other resources that may be helpful to your school/organization/community as you seek to give students skills as well as information on the road to college.
• Recognize you as a Partner because you are important to students' success and the success of this contest.  We will list your name on the Campaign for College Opportunity's website and some other materials.
• Inform you of opportunities to get involved in the greater work done by our organization surrounding college access and success.
• Serve as an educational resource to everyone that visits your website by linking to http://www.collegecampaign.org/contest so others can learn about the contest as well!
