Soft, what's that I hear? Something ringing in my ear; A plea, a cry for help, Crying for your help I dare say, For many others and I want a spot saved.
Not a seat in the movie theaters, Nor a place in the lunch line. It's something greater, Something very valuable indeed.
We want a chance to go to college. What we will become, No one knows for sure. But we sure will do some good.
A doctor, An actor, A pharmacist,An engineer, A zookeeper.
All will fit Together like puzzle pieces, If only you save A spot for us
Soft, what's that I hear? Whooping and cheering For people so dear, And of graduation hats Thrown into the air.
