Verse 1: The alarm clock goes off and it just wakes me up I turn it off, pounding it not giving it much love I got to get up from late last night I had to read pages six to one thirty five I had to do math problems, one through nine It wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't have a through I I had to study Spanish vocab and memorize Half way through all this my brain is fried Subjunctives, conjunctions, irregular functions My mind spins, causing focus reduction Working hard in hopes to get far Will it work, I don't know, So that's why I hope The leaders of Cali will hear our rally As we pursue to be the best we can be Keeping out of trouble and remaining drug-free Making this world a better place to live, Where kids don't kill kids Homicides, suicides don't exist So please help us persist

College and such Right?
