California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC)

CPEC provides information about how to prepare for going to college; names, addresses, and points of contact for all California institutions of higher learning, both public and independent; admission and transfer requirements for California’s public colleges and universities; and financial aid.

The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office provides information about the community college system and links to all 109 community colleges.

California State University (CSU)

CSU Mentor is an online resource designed to help students and their families learn about the CSU system, select a CSU campus to attend, plan to finance higher education, and apply for admission.

University of California (UC)

Pathways is the University of California's online undergraduate and transfer admission information and application network.

I Can Afford College

The California Community Colleges recently launched this site, which offers financial aid information, including individual student success stories.

UC College Prep Online (UCCP)

UC College Prep Online provides students the opportunity to advance and enrich their academic experiences through online courses.  UCCP provides a core curriculum of online courses which meet the UC's "a-g" requirements for admission.

Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU)

This site offers information about the AICCU, which serves as the unified statewide voice of independent higher education in California. It represents 77 private colleges and universities on policy issues with the state and federal government.

Student Preparation for Careers & College

The University of California President's Office provides a list of tutoring, mentoring, test preparation and other special academic support and enrichment programs that motivate K-12 students to consider a college education and professional careers. The site also contains UC admissions and application information.
