May 28, 2008 - Los Angeles Unified School Districted endorses SB 890; 300 volunteers judge over 12,000 entried in Save Me a Spot in College contest; Support SB 325, which creates a higher education accountability framework; read LA Times article about 'Cumulative Impact' study. 

March 25, 2008 - Michele Siqueiros named as Executive Director; Board extends Campaign mandate for five more years; David Wolf joins Board.

January 25, 2008 - College Opportunity Day in Sacramento, a photo essay of two sixth graders from the Passport to College progam, a KnowHow2Go to College booklet that will reach hundreds of thousands, the latest in growing support for Early Commitment to College and SB 890, the 2008 Save Me a Spot in College Contest.

November 12, 2007 - A shortage of skilled workers hits the health care industry, innovative "Practices with Promise" programs clear paths to student success, Schwarzenegger signs AB 668 financial aid bill into law.

September 21, 2007 - AB 668 - the Community College Financial Opportunity Act awaits passes through legislature and Governor's signature, students and campaign supporters meet with 75 Assembly Members in their district offices in support of Early Commitment to College, receptions held around the state to honor winners of the Save Me a Spot in College Contest.

July 26, 2007 - Assembly education committees approve SB 890, Fresno KnowHow2Go events bring together hundreds from Southeast Asian and African American communities, CCO hosts conversation on the Basic Skills Initiative.
