You could be a high school student concerned about going to one of California’s community colleges or universities. Or maybe you are a current college student in California, frustrated with the lack of availability of the courses that you need. Either way, we need your help to raise awareness of the impending college-access crisis to your fellow students and in your communities. Help us get the word out by submitting your student story or by hosting a student event on your campus about the lack of college access in California.
In 1960, California’s leaders made a promise that every student who could benefit from a college education would have a place in our community colleges and universities. That was a smart move, helping make California one of the strongest economies in the world. The next generation of students deserves that same chance.
Together, we can work to ensure that college opportunity is available to all students who seek it. We hope you will join us.
